Mr. Duchow is a commercial real estate broker with Ogden & Company, Inc. He has a CCIM designation. He is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. He was employed in the advance products division at the Louis Allis Company. Subsequently, he joined his family owned business in a sales management capacity for 20 years.
Mr. Duchow has a diverse real estate background that ranges from leasing to property sales and rezoning for development. He has leased space of up to 45,000 square feet to a variety of local and national companies such as Interstate Brands Corporation, Family Dollar Stores, Rite Hite Corporation and Generac Portable generators LLC for retail, industrial and office use.
In the past several years, Mr. Duchow has been involved with investment sales of large industrial office warehouse properties, mini storage facilities, retail properties and office buildings. He has sold large restaurant property and has successfully found alternate use buyers such as a RCAC assisted living group to purchase and convert use of a church building.
He has sold numerous vacant land parcels for large institutions such as the Milwaukee Archdiocese and for individual investors. Land sales have frequently required the rezoning of the properties to retail, multi-family, single-family subdivisions, industrial or institutional uses. Developments for these sites include restaurants, shopping centers, medical offices, motels, town houses, apartments and office-flex service centers. Currently Mr. Duchow manages and leases a retail shopping center and is involved in residential, office, and retail land development. He specializes in investment real estate, site location and sales of vacant land parcels.
